6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you be not dismayed, for I am your God I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Romans 8:6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. and still write in such a way that deep down we know the words of this text are there to help us and not to cast judgment. Only God could talk about things like lust, evil, adultery, malice, greed, etc.

Think for a minute with me about the Bible…it is many words written over many years by many different human authors (of course guided by the Holy Spirit) and yet when we read the Bible it is inspiring and encouraging even though it deals with so many hard and difficult topics. One of the many reasons that people turn to the Scriptures is to be inspired to live for God.
